(Newser) – Police investigating an alleged break-in at Jon Gosselin's New York City digs say they're considering the possibility that it was staged. The former reality show star's ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman says she took her belongings out of the apartment last week, but denies slashing up the furnishings and leaving a note calling him a "cheater" pinned to his dresser with a butcher knife, the New York Daily News reports. A chef's knife pinned through a note purportedly from former Gosselin galpal Hailey Glassman was a particularly unconvincing touch that looked "staged," said a police source.
