(Newser) – According to Jeffrey Nix, a 15-year Knicks employee and confidant of plaintiff and coworker Anucha Browne Sanders, coach and GM Isiah Thomas called her a "f---ing bitch" and "f---ing ho" in a March 2004 meeting, then told her months later that he was in love with her. Nix did not personally hear either conversation.

However, he did see Sanders push Thomas away from her during the latter exchange, which occurred on the court. The revelation comes a day after Thomas denied calling her a bitch, yet also confusingly asserted that it was more acceptable for a black man to use the term to describe a black woman than if a white man were to do so.
