(Newser) – “General” Larry Platt’s American Idol audition song, “Pants on the Ground,” is everywhere—and he’s hired a lawyer to try and make some money off it. Despite all the “Pants”-inspired merchandise for sale on eBay and the many, many remixes, Platt hasn’t seen any revenue because he never copyrighted the song. He tells TMZ he loves the craze, but hopes his new attorney can figure out a way for him to get paid for it.
