(Newser) – Three detainees from the US prison at Guantanamo Bay were moved to Slovakia over the weekend, bringing the total number of detainees at the Cuban base down to 193. Neither that nation nor the Justice Department, at Slovakia’s urging, would disclose the former prisoners’ names or nationalities, Reuters reports. Slovakia agreed to take the men pursuant to an EU-US agreement designed to speed the closing of the facility.

...and when you do, the acts you commit, the anger you express, feeds right back into the hands of the machine, further proof of it's necessity. How elegant.

It's a terrifying thought, to simply disappear into a black bag, with no one answering for you, none of your loved ones aware of your continued existence, your life nothing but a long stream of torture and respite, deprivation and fear, and all done at the hands of the most "moral" nation on the planet, simply so that some politicians can make money for their friends companies. If you weren't radical when they captured you, you'll certainly be radical if you ever get free....
