The crosstown Mets came second, trailing by almost $600 million. The Yanks, however, were one of only two teams to lose money last season, dropping $3.7 million. (NEWSER) - Harry Kalas, who announced Philadelphia Phillies games since 1971, died today, the Inquirer reports. Kalas, 73, was found unconscious at Nationals Stadium in Washington and rushed to a hospital, where he died.
