(Shutter Stock) (Newser) – Exciting work-from-home opportunities are being offered to tech geeks happy to break the law serving the scum of the Internet. Cyber crooks seeking to steal bank and credit card details are openly advertising for people to help spread malicious code by linking it to something people will click on, according to analysts at security firm CyberWorks. One site offers $180 for every 1,000 American computers infected with malware. The fee is smaller for computers in other nations, and nothing is paid for Russian computers, leading experts to believe that's where the cyberthieves are based, Reuters reports. The site offers to pay via Western Union or Paypal. Employers no doubt already have personal bank details for direct deposit payments.
