John Mayer’s public image may be in the toilet, but his controversial Playboy interview did score him one positive: The chance to live out his “dream” of writing pornography. Vivid Entertainment, the company that has made overtures to such class acts as Tiger Woods, Carrie Prejean, and Octomom, believes Mayer’s “incredible talent and passion” could create “a highly erotic adult film.”
Founder Steven Hirsch got the idea when he read that Mayer likes to “make up back stories” for potential porn films, and invites him to write—and maybe even direct—for his company in a letter obtained by TMZ. “Your understanding of the dynamics of relationships would undoubtedly appeal to both men and women,” Hirsch writes. “I think that together we can create a highly unique breakthrough film.”
