(Newser) – Though the Oscars' "In Memoriam" segment typically focuses on film stars, it was jolting not to see Farrah Fawcett’s iconic image in this year's montage. Fawcett, who died in June, was best known for her TV role on Charlie’s Angels, though she did star in films like Dr. T and the Women and The Apostle, the Huffington Post reports. Also conspicuously absent from the segment: Bea Arthur, who died in April.

What an insult. Who decided to leave her & others out?

I caught the tribute. It sent chills down my spine when I saw Brittany Murphy. She was by far the youngest on that list. Died much too far before her time.

Classless move, Oscar.
