British pair get month for indecency

(Newser) – A British couple have been sentenced to a month in prison in Dubai after a local woman complained when they kissed in a beachfront restaurant. "We kissed each other on the cheek as a greeting, nothing more,” Ayman Najafi, 24, told the Dubai Appeal Court yesterday. He called the case a "huge misunderstanding." Police were called to Bob's Easy Diner by an Emirati woman who said her daughters were upset because the two "were kissing on the mouth."

Najafi and Charlotte Adams, 25, were also fined $140 for being in a public place after consuming alcohol. The two have been released on bail pending a decision in their appeal. It's not the first time tourists have run afoul of Dubai's prohibitions. Two other British tourists were sentenced last year to 3 months in prison last year for having sex on the beach.

The strange thing in the Arab world that scandal will start from a spark issue, rumor and any body accusation not from actual event. AS example the killing of this Phelastenian from hamas front in the same DUBAI city, they made a big media for the killing its self but last they did not do any thing but media presentation and they captured NO BODY - but - an innocent kiss (because an Arabian women saw the kiss) will do such a comedy and drama events will lead to a prison.
You Imagine that day and night the Arab TVs are full of kissing and hugging and necked women including this belly dance and these singing twisting girls with very bad sexual words, also films full of very bad images and sleeping together necked, kissing reaching to very close of sexual bed relation - AND NO Body, No women, No police, No father , No mother is complaining - They are very enjoying and smiling to each other.
what this means , it means that we Arabs have nothing to do but only pretending that we are straight to ethics and morality - but we are hiding behind our shadows - THIS Is THE FACT .
