(Newser) – Ann Coulter didn’t take kindly to a Canadian university official’s warning that she review the country’s speech laws ahead of an appearance tonight, with the righty pundit saying the official is himself guilty of a “hate crime.”

University of Ottawa provost François Houle “simply believes and is publicizing his belief that conservatives are more likely to commit hate crimes in their speeches,” Coulter wrote to the Citizen. “Not only does this promote hatred against conservatives, but it promotes violence against conservatives.”
