(Newser) – In a note to the court, the jury in the Isiah Thomas case indicated that they found the Knick coach guilty of harassment. Their only remaining decision is whether to award punitive damages. They're expected to reconvene and announce their verdict tomorrow at 9:30am. It would be the fitting conclusion to a PR nightmare for the Knicks.

Sanders's attorneys described a seamy narrative in which Thomas was first dismissive, then amorous, towards the Knicks executive, calling her "bitch" and "ho" and then attempting to woo her. Thomas's talent for charisma and likability "does not give him the right to treat Browne Sanders like she is his woman," argued her lawyer.
