(Newser) – Pearl Carter, 72, is in love and having a baby—with her 26-year-old grandson. Oh, but it’s not gross, because Pearl gave Phil’s mom up for adoption when she was a baby, so grandma and grandson didn’t meet until 2006! Pearl was freaked out when she found herself thinking “what a handsome and sexy man he was,” but then she read about Genetic Sexual Attraction and realized her feelings “weren’t wrong,” she tells New Idea.

Phil agrees: “I could be with Pearl and it was OK because she'd never raised me or been in my life,” he says. TMI alert: They have sex “three times a week”—but Pearl is too old to conceive, so they found an open-minded surrogate and spent $54,000 of Pearl’s retirement money to inseminate her with a donor egg and Phil’s sperm. As he says, “You can't help who you fall for.”

OK is there not laws against this? I could have sworn there are laws against this! Okay besides the fact that he wasn't raised by her besides the fact that they are old enough to make up their own minds are they not understanding that a child concieved of two people so closely related could be medically effected?

Pulling All Nighters with Grandma? Now that's gross. Grandma, just like Grandpa, should be more interested in a good nights sleep more than anything else. This is all sick in my book. Good night!
