Rich Get Richer: Pats Star Back

Having served his four-game suspension for using the banned substance HGH, stud safety Rodney Harrison will retake his place this week with a Patriots defense that has looked plenty stalwart without him. Harrison stayed in shape during his forced sabbatical with weights, yoga, and Pilates; it is unclear whether he will start against the Browns.

The 14-year veteran claimed that he had been using HGH solely to rehab a knee injury, but was contrite nonetheless. He cited the primary lesson of his layoff: "Don't make bad decisions." Harrison forfeited about a quarter of his $2 million salary; in his career, he has also been fined a cumulative $200,000 for excessive hits. (More NFL stories.)
