Law & Order may be axed one year short of a record-breaking 21-year run. The cast and crew of the NBC drama have been told it has been canceled, reports E! Online, although no official announcement has been and other sources say talks are continuing. A 21st season would have let Dick Wolf's creation grab the title of longest-running TV drama series from Gunsmoke. Its fate will be known Sunday, when NBC releases its schedule to the media, the New York Daily News reports.
