Glenn Beck Apologizes for Mocking Malia
He took heavy flak after bit on radio show

(Newser) – That was quick. Hours after a clip of Glenn Beck mimicking and mocking Malia Obama became a hot topic, he apologized on his website. "In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates," he wrote.

"The children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize–and as a dad I should have known better.” Beck began taking flak for the segment—it was on his radio show, where he tends to go further than on TV—which played off her "Daddy, did you plug the hole yet?" question.
