LeAnn Rimes talks publicly about her cheating scandal for the first time—and though she feels bad and all, she's really not sad about how everything worked out. She calls her affair with Eddie Cibrian—which ultimately broke up both of their marriages—“selfish” and tells People, “I never once thought what I was doing was okay." After news of her infidelity surfaced, she and then-husband Dean Sheremet tried to save their 7-year marriage, she says, but the two realized “it wasn’t a marriage that fulfilled either one of us.”

"I take responsibility for everything I've done. I hate that people got hurt," she says. "But I don't regret the outcome."
