Cops Seize Shipment of Human Heads at Airport

Suspect a 'black market for body parts'

(Newser) – Police have seized a package of 40 to 60 human heads at the Little Rock airport. The heads were headed to a medical research company in Fort Worth, but they weren’t “labeled or packaged properly,” according to a spokesman for Southwest Airlines. An employee found them and called the police, who turned them over to the county coroner. They’re trying to determine where they came from.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that there is a black market out there for human body parts for research or for whatever reason,” the coroner said. “We just want to make sure these specimens aren’t a part of that.” The heads appear to be sent from an Arkansas company called JLS Consulting—which had its business license revoked in December, a Dallas NBC affiliate reports.

(NEWSER) - A spray of strong perfume by an employee sparked chaos at a Bank of America call center in Texas yesterday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. After two employees complained of feeling dizzy from a colleague's strong perfume, an announcement was made saying anyone feeling ill should exit the building.
