Angie Talks Kid No. 7, Retirement

Angelina Jolie addresses some of her now-typical interview questions (will she and Brad ever get married? Are they having more kids?) in a Vanity Fair cover piece. Highlights:

• The most important question of all: What did she think of Brad’s infamous, grody beard? “I love Brad in every state.”
• Is she pregnant?: “No, I’m not pregnant,” she says, but “we’re not opposed to it” as long as they can “make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.”

• Why aren’t they married?: They’re not “against getting married,” she says, but “it’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment. It’s for life.”
• Future plans: She calls acting “a fun job,” but says, “I don’t think I’ll do it much longer” because she wants to spend more time in her “happy home.”
• But before she retires…: She’d “love to” co-star with Brad again, and says they’ve considered a sequel to Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but so far there hasn’t been “anything original. It was just, Well, they’re going to get married, or they’ve got kids, or they get separated. Never great.”
