Mexican Drug Gang Arrested Near Yellowstone

(User Submitted) – A multi-agency federal and local task force arrested eight members of the Mexcican Surenos gang in West Yellowstone and Bozeman Montana, the gateways to Yellowstone Park. The gang members were believed to be engaging in the distribution and sale of illegal drugs. Bozeman is 1200 miles from the nearest Mexican border, suggesting that the problem of Mexican drug gangs is no longer exclusive to Mexican border states. Read the full article.

As long as drug trafficking is big business, you will have crime and criminal enterprises popping up and trying to expand their business. The only way to really battle this is by taking away the demand of their drugs. The drug war has failed and drug use is at least as high as it was in the 60's & 70's, if the government wants to stop these Gangs than the source for the user's drugs must be different. While outlandish, if there was a legal or standardized way to attain the desired drugs, the gangs would have no market as instead of messing with some gangbanger, your walking to your drug store for your pack of ...(fill in the blank) without having to worry about being involved in a criminal act.
