Names of Suspected Illegal Immigrants Leak in Utah

State government scrambles to find out who's to blame

(Newser) – An anonymous group has released a list of 1,300 Utah residents who, it alleges, are illegal immigrants. The list, which was sent to media outlets, law enforcement, and lawmakers, includes the names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, and in some cases even Social Security numbers of those suspects, the Salt Lake Tribune reports. Utah’s governor has ordered an investigation to determine if any state employees helped create or leak the list.

It’s unclear how accurate the list is. The Tribune contacted two women on the list at random, and both said they were in the country legally. Nearly every surname on the list is Latino. The leader of one Hispanic organization decried the list, and amazingly, so did a representative from Utah Minuteman Project, saying the list might disparage actual citizens. But he added that he wished he had that kind of data. Then “I might really be able to report some illegal immigrants to ICE.”

The first two names on the list that the Salt Lake Tribune checked were in the country legally. One said she had recently become a permanent legal resident.

The politicians in Washington say that the millions of Illegal Immigrants "living in the shadows" because the government does "not know anything about their backgrounds" should be given "Comprenhevsive Immigration Reform - Amnesty" so they will come forward and register with the Immigration Department. Obviously someone in the government knows a lot about them: http://www.tcunation.com/profiles/blogs/another-hard-working

Deport the illegals sucking at the teat of our great nation immediately! It's time for action. Guerrilla tactics become necessary when our government won't do their job.

Don't know if it's true, but some other site is saying that this list also specifies the due dates of pregnant women who are "suspected illegals". If that's true...holy shit. Say what you will about "anchor babies", this is dangerous and some people need to SERIOUSLY get a grip and think twice. Also, everyone bitching about how illegal immigrants take all of your jobs, look-up the "Take Our Jobs" campaign. Please note, only 3 people so far have "put their money where their mouth is" and started working in this program.
