Philly Flyers Thrash Thrashers

Atlanta shut down 4-0

(Newser) – Last season the Flyers finished last in their division; the Thrashers first. But you wouldn't have known it at last night's game when Philly dominated Atlanta on the way to a 4-0 victory. The win left the Flyers at 4-1-0 and the Thrashers reeling at 0-6.

"You see all these goals; they're just [bad] breaks," said Thrasher goalie Johan Hedberg. "We're not complaining, crying or feeling sorry for ourselves. We have to find a way to regain that confidence. It's very tough right now." The Thrashers now head to New York with revenge on their minds. The Rangers swept them out of the playoffs last season.
