Chelsea's Wedding: Yes, Bill Cried

“There wasn't a dry eye in the house” as Chelsea Clinton danced with her father at her wedding Saturday. The father-daughter moment came after Chelsea and new husband Marc Mezvinsky’s first dance, to “The Way You Look Tonight.” As the proud pop cut in, “Bill's chin began quivering and he tried to fake a smile as a tear came down his cheek,” a guest tells the New York Daily News. “He whispered something into Chelsea's ear, and she wiped the tear off his face. It was so touching.”

The wedding is over, but the frenzy continues with post-wedding details from the speeches (Mezvinsky “looked right into Chelsea’s eyes,” says a guest, and “you could feel the energy in the room”) to the food (steak and salmon) to the weekend’s festivities (a farewell brunch ended things yesterday). TMZ even has pictures of the gift bags guests received. By far the most amusing detail comes from the New York Post, which reports that Madeleine Albright was the last one on the dance floor at the reception—which didn’t end until 3:30am.
