(Newser) – Courtney Love, always an excellent candidate for Mother of the Year, is well on her way to scoring this year’s award. Evidence? Her birthday wishes to daughter Frances Bean Cobain. One day after Frances turned 18, Love took to Twitter (where else?) to inform her offspring that, “youve done a damned good job frances of destroying anything i could build” and accusing her of wanting to “ruin my personal life.”

Despite warning Frances she could “ruiinher,” E! reports, Love of course eventually veered back into maudlin territory, tweeting, “well i long for your kiss and your sweet head smell i long for you i ache for you, i die for you every day my heart breaks for you, sowrong.” After losing custody of her daughter last year, Love slammed her on Facebook and was hit with a restraining order.
