Sarkozy Gets Google Bombed
French president apparently not too popular right now

(Newser) – Thousands of Google bombers have made their feelings about French president Nicolas Sarkozy known: He's a "trou du cul." That's "a crude French anatomical phrase," according to the Telegraph; Urban Dictionary is more to the point: It means "a**hole." Search for the phrase on Google and, until recently at least, Sarkozy's Facebook page was the top result. (At the time of writing, it had fallen to No. 6.)

"Google bombs" are collective efforts by online pranksters to link a person's website to an unfavorable search term (past bombs include "liar" for Tony Blair and "miserable failure" for George W. Bush). This is the second time Sarkozy has fallen victim to one—possibly due in part to his Gypsy purge—but perhaps those responsible should consider what happened to this comedian when he made fun of Sarko...
