(Newser) - The Denver Broncos ruined the long-awaited NFL debut of Brady Quinn tonight with a 34-30 comeback win over the Cleveland Browns, the Plain Deale r reports. The former Notre Dame star played well—he threw for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns in front of the faithful Dawg Pound, and he led a TD drive in the fourth quarter that gave his team a fleeting lead. But the Browns defense surrendered a double-digit lead in the second half for the second consecutive week. More »

(Newser) - Barack Obama has already nailed one nomination. He's cruised onto a list of the fittest guys in America. His 16-hour days on the campaign trail, early morning workouts at hotel gyms, brisk 45-minute runs and pick-up basketball games put him in some super-fit company, according to the list compiled by Men's Fitness magazine. (Newser) - The Cleveland Browns simplified the question of which of their three quarterbacks to start—by trading starter Charlie Frye to Seattle. Frye, who won out over backup QB Derek Anderson during the preseason, threw for 34 yards with one interception and five sacks last weekend against Pittsburgh.
