Joba Chamberlain nearly got into a fistfight with a Red Sox fan before his alleged DUI, the New York Post reports. Chamberlain began the ill-fated night by pounding a couple Grey Goose drinks at a friend’s bar, before hitting a strip club. A simple fan could be the key to reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, reports ABC News. Researchers discovered that babies who slept in a room with a fan were 72% less likely to die from SIDS, according to the study published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Experts speculated that the fan might prevent the baby from "rebreathing" carbon-dioxide, thought to be a major cause of SIDS.

Unruly football fans can be ejected from games without a refund under the NFL’s first “Fan Code of Conduct” issued yesterday, USA Today reports. Fans can now be booted for being drunk and disruptive, using obscene language and gestures, or throwing objects on the field. Code violators even risk losing ticket privileges for future games. NFL officials said the code was established because of a mounting number of fan complaints.
