Filed by the district attorney in Santa Barbara, Calif., 2 months after Locklear's DUI arrest, the misdemeanor charge blames her intoxication on "prescription medications." Joba Chamberlain nearly got into a fistfight with a Red Sox fan before his alleged DUI, the New York Post reports. Chamberlain began the ill-fated night by pounding a couple Grey Goose drinks at a friend’s bar, before hitting a strip club. New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding, and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. Nebraska State Patrol said Chamberlain was stopped for speeding near his hometown of Lincoln at about 1am yesterday. Chamberlain was taken to the Cornhusker Place Detox in Lincoln, which is the normal protocol.

A former magazine editor collected $27,500 from a gossip internet site after making the 911 phone call that led to Heather Locklear's DUI bust, reports ABC News. Jill Ishkanian, a one-time editor at Us Weekly magazine, called the cops after spotting Lockyear in the parking lot of a California supermarket.
