Three fugitive siblings are accused of firing 20 or more shots at a Florida cop during an Aug. 2 chase, then robbing a bank in Georgia; now police believe they are on the run in Colorado. A customer at a Colorado Springs REI store called the cops yesterday after spotting three people who looked like 21-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty, 26-year-old Dylan Dougherty Stanley, and 29-year-old Lee Grace Dougherty, the Gazette reports.

FBI agents interviewed employees of the outdoor gear shop and learned that the three quickly purchased a tent, then left; the FBI believes the sighting is "credible." The Los Angeles Times reports they have been driving a small white car with Texas plates, LCS 909. The Doughertys' alleged crime spree began when they were pulled over for speeding and fled police. All three have criminal records, with charges including hit and run, battery, marijuana possession, and a sex offense. Authorities warn they are "armed and dangerous." (More crime stories.)
