Plane Hits Ferris Wheel: Everybody's OK

Precisely the last thing you want to see while on a Ferris wheel: an incoming plane. An ultra-light craft crashed into a ride in Australia, and somehow nobody got seriously hurt, reports AP. The Cheetah S200 smashed into the top of the wheel and got stuck there, trapping two kids in a carriage for about 90 minutes and the plane's two people for about three hours. The pilot never saw it: "The next thing I knew, I was stopped inside the Ferris wheel," he said. "I had no idea for a few minutes and I was just hoping no one got hurt." (More Ferris wheel stories.)
