George Michael was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk or drugged after his Range Rover slammed into the back of a truck on a British highway last night, the Sun reports. Police, however, released him 6 hours later without charge. The singer, who just got his license back in June after a 2-year suspension for driving on drugs, escaped the crash unharmed, as did the other driver.

The singer was "doing about 100mph and was weaving all over the place," says the truck driver, adding that Michael seemed dazed and "away with the fairies" afterward. "He came over to my cab and asked if I had stopped to give him a lift. I was stunned. He was absolutely not with it, so I told him no." (More celebrity stories.)
