Yale students are complaining about a "terror attack" police raid on a private party where five students were arrested. Police and a SWAT team brandishing semi-automatic weapons burst into a party at a nightclub and swore at, shoved, and punched students—and Tasered one Yalie multiple times, sending him to a local hospital, witnesses tell the Yale Daily News.

The nightclub's owner says police handled the raid "like a terrorist attack" and he is considering legal action. The officers acted "drunk with their power," his lawyer says. “It was an absolutely unprovoked and uncalled-for nightmare.” Police raided the club because they received an anonymous tip that underage drinking was likely to occur. The club presented "such a risk that it was necessary to respond with a strong police presence that involved members of the SWAT team," said a police statement.
