Man Shoots Teen Over Saggy Pants Kenneth Bonds really, really wanted those pants pulled up By Evann Gastaldo, Newser Staff Posted Oct 6, 2010 11:08 AM CDT 31 comments Comments This May 8, 2009 photo shows a man holding up pants that are worn well below the waist, as he walks on a street in Nashville, Tenn. (AP Photo/Mark Humphrey) (Newser) – Sure, saggy pants are irritating … but irritating enough to shoot someone over? A 45-year-old Memphis man admits he did just that. Kenneth Bonds apparently yelled at two teens who were on their way to a candy store, telling them to pull up their pants. When they didn’t, Bonds started arguing, Fox 13 reports. He then got a gun from his home and shot at the pair when they passed by him once again. One of his bullets hit the 17-year-old, not surprisingly, in the butt.
