It will only get better when people become more tolerant of other people. This includes people who are short/tall/fat/skinny/people with what others consider 'funny' names/people of different cultural backgrounds/race/religion, etc. It SHOULD be better for all people involved. It WILL be better when they do not have to be LABELED LGBT. People are people, if you do not want to 'hook up' or 'have sex' with someone, then it is NOT your business what their sexual preference is. For the most part, people do NOT like labels, unless that label somehow lifts them up so it seems that they are better than the other person/people (for example: 'executive' 'vice-president', etc!), like in the workplace or such, but NOT in everyday life. We need to teach our children tolerance. We need to quit acting so ignorant because we do not understand how/why people choose to live the way they live. We do not want people torturing us or our children for our beliefs/lifestyle... we should teach our children to be more tolerant of other people no matter what their beliefs or lifestyle leads them to, as long as they are not trying to force their beliefs or lifestyle on us and are not harming anyone, why not just let them believe and live the way that they want to without our interference. Please think about it!
