(Newser) – Sarah Palin is taking a razzing today for a verbal gaffe about North Korea. She told Glenn Beck on his radio show that we must “stand with our North Korean allies” before he corrected her. “This speaks to a bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policies,” she said of the Korean situation. “But obviously, got to stand with our North Korean allies.”

“In fairness to Sarah Palin,” notes Mark Joyella at Mediaite, “she’s got a lot on her plate right now–a book tour, a reality show, and a daughter who landed in third place on Dancing with the Stars–so remembering arcane international details like which country has a lunatic dictator with nuclear weapons and which one has American troops can be difficult.” Click here for more.

As a member of Team Sarah, I'm here to help set the record straight about the North Korea comment by Sarah Palin. This situation is not at all the way the liberal press makes it look. They didn't bother to check things out carefully for all facts concerned. But hey, what are facts, when we get a great fabricated story against Sarah Palin? The liberal press not once checked the entire conversation to know she was talking about supporting South Korea. The liberal press conveniently didn't tell the public that she corrected herself a few seconds later. The liberal press didn't tell people she supported China putting economic pressure on its neighbor North Korea. To make things even more interesting, lets look at a few things the liberal press conveniently didn't report about their liberal man Barack Obama. Obama said "...the 57 States of the United States." He talked about America founded 20 centuries ago. He said "Isreal is a friend of Isreal." How convenient for the liberal cause that these verbal foul ups were never reported! This is a classic case of how the news has been manipulated by the liberal press, and this country is full of people who can see and understand this. If the liberal press wants people to trust them again, they will have to give people reason to do so, something called practicing what they preach about fairness, balance and accuracy.
