(NEWSER) - The Golden Globes ended with a heartwarming surprise: A healthy-looking Michael Douglas , who presented the final award of the evening and noted that there must be "an easier way to get a standing ovation." That award, for best motion picture drama, went to the night's top winner: The Social Network, which took home four trophies, also including best director and best screenplay. (NEWSER) - Other than umbrellas, the most common accessories on the Golden Globes' red carpet were yellow, blue, and red ribbons showing support for Haiti earthquake victims. (NEWSER) - "So, where was I?" began Ricky Gervais, drink in hand, as he sauntered on stage to open the Golden Globes. "Nervous?" He wasted no time throwing out a few insults, noting that he was hosting the show on NBC, "America's third biggest network. Or is it fourth?"
