(Newser) – Well, Justin Bieber must have really made it: He’s on the cover of Vanity Fair. Inside the mag, he opens up about his influences (Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men), his goals (“to make people happy … and to have everyone root for me”), and his likes (outer space) and dislikes (school). As for all those screaming fangirls? He thinks he knows why they’re there: “Not trying to be arrogant, but if I walked down the street and a girl saw me, she might take a look back because maybe I’m good-looking, right?” But he knows he has “haters,” he says, who are waiting for him to make a mistake.
