Scratch one off the list: Mike Pence says he won't run for president in 2012. The conservative congressman from Indiana told supporters of his decision in a letter, reports the Indianapolis Star. "In the choice between seeking national office and serving Indiana in some capacity, we choose Indiana," wrote Pence and wife Karen. "We will not seek the Republican nomination for president in 2012." The Star thinks it's a "virtual certainty" he will instead run for governor to succeed Mitch Daniels, another name being tossed around on the GOP's 2012 list.
