Duke Lacrosse Accuser Charged With Murder

The boyfriend she allegedly stabbed has died

(Newser) – Those assault with a deadly weapon charges Crystal Mangum was facing have been upgraded to full-blown murder charges. A grand jury formally indicted Mangum yesterday, following the Wednesday death of Reginald Daye, the boyfriend she is accused of stabbing, the News & Observer reports. Mangum, best known as the bogus victim in the Duke Lacrosse rape case, was arrested two weeks ago after allegedly stabbing Daye during an argument.

Why has this story's comments digressed into race & politics. ugh this site is so sophomoric sometimes. What does Jesse Jackson or Al Shrarpton or conservative christians have to do with this pathetic woman. As for Jesse & Al while I do not particularly like or agree with their agenda they were at the time trying to be the voice of what they thought was a rape victim. The Duke players were young stupid kids who made a foolish thing in hiring a stripper. It came back to blow up in their face when she being an unstable nut job lived up to her title. It begins & ends with Ms. Mangum.
