We may have to wait a bit longer for a baby Bieber

(Newser) – Can’t exactly say we’re shocked: The paternity lawsuit against Justin Bieber has been dropped. TMZ reports that not only did Mariah Yeater quietly dismiss the suit last week—she also lost both her lawyers, who withdrew from the case. Bieber’s lawyer had recently called Yeater’s attorneys to warn them that the singer would be filing a countersuit accusing the “babymama” of a making a false claim, the gossip site notes. In happier Bieber news, he has a new $160,000 ride.

He should counter-sue her anyway. Frivolous bullshit lawsuits like this eat up way too many courtroom hours to go unpunished. Perhaps a week or two of public service would teach her the error of her ways...

She probably hasn't got two nickels to rub together, so he won't even get back legal fees.
