(AP) – A man who identified himself as being active in the military was detained after trying to go through a security checkpoint at a Texas airport with explosives in military-grade wrapping, federal and local officials said. The man was stopped yesterday at a security checkpoint at the Midland International Airport about 9am and taken into custody by the FBI.

An FBI spokesman said he did not know where the man was being held, saying he was at either the airport or at the FBI office in Midland. The man and his family had been in the area visiting relatives and were on their way back to his base in North Carolina when the TSA, according to a statement, spotted a suspicious item in a carry-on bag during X-ray screening. The checkpoint was closed for about an hour while officers investigated and removed the item.

One perpetual problem with our military is that they train thousands of people in the art of killing and destruction. Then they turn them loose into the public. Even after some of them exhibit insanity and irrational behaviors. So we have irrational or very disturbed trained killers roaming American streets. Some military people also develop fetishes where they views weapons in a sick way like sex objects or other bizarre associations. No surprise when one occasionally flips out and kills a bunch of people. And do not say this isn't so. Can you say Ft. Hood or Oklahoma City? How many crazy militiamen have well stocked arsenals scattered across our country? Is the FBI targeting these patriots instead of the peaceful Occupy demonstrators.?
