(Newser) – The entire staff of a Los Angeles-area elementary school will be replaced while sexual abuse charges against two teachers are investigated. No one else at Miramonte Elementary School—which has been closed for two days—is suspected of abusing children, but a drastic change was needed in order to restore parents' confidence in the school, officials tell the Los Angeles Times.

Some 100 teachers and 50 administrative staffers are leaving the school and being replaced by some of the thousands of teachers and support staff laid off over the last few years. Many of the teachers should eventually be able to return to the school, according to officials. Miramonte, one of the country's largest elementary schools with some 1,500 students, was plunged into crisis when teacher Mark Berndt was arrested for allegedly feeding his semen to at least 23 blindfolded students over several years. Days later, his colleague Mark Springer was arrested for allegedly fondling his students.

Yep, gotta keep moving the PEDS around so the parents never get wise. They learned from the RCC. Trouble is, the unions are riddled with them and admins too. There is no one there protecting the kids because the parents are locked out.

Actually, I think it is a good idea. Pedophile sub-culture is such that there is a very complex underground of activity--they know each other and often help find/trade victims. Once a pedophile knows s/he is in a situation of having access to many children without suspicion, there is a good chance he will invite another in. The Catholic Church is a great example of this tradition. We have lots of tools now to see if people are liars. Polygraphs, body language specialists, visualizing eye dilation, and brain scans. No reason we can't interview all people who have regular access to children once a year, and just find out if they get jumpy and need a more intensive screening. We will still miss a sociopath once in a while, but we should catch most of them. My best friend's 8 year old daughter was fondled several times by boyfriend before she found out. Found guilty, but judge gave him probation!!! He was ordered not to have a job around children. So he opened a comic book shop, and judge gave him the OK!!!!!!!!! The question is: do we care enough about our children to relax our indignation over privacy, and allot the funds necessary to do this?

Its obvious that among the millions of school teachers there will always be some perverts. Therefore, lets tear down the entire school building. No, no; lets abolish public education all together. That way we know our children are safely at home, (since there are no pervert parents.)
