Rush Limbaugh was uncharacteristically unprovocative yesterday despite getting a dressing down from Chelsea Clinton for the time he compared her to a dog. Clinton spoke out last week in support of another victim of Limbaugh's acid tongue, Sandra Fluke, who was branded a slut by him for backing health insurance for contraception, reports ABC News. "We've both been attacked by Rush Limbaugh," Clinton said in a recent panel discussion. "She's 30, I was 13." At the time, Limbaugh showed a photo of the first daughter on his TV program and said: “Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is also a White House dog?”
Chelsea said she got past the incident with the "survival skill" of a "thick skin," adding: “I also believe if you have the right type of enemies you’re doing something correct.” Mom Hillary told MSNBC yesterday that "we need to call people out when they go over the line." Not a peep—yet—from Limbaugh.
