A far-right French politician isn't too crazy about seeing her face displayed with a swastika on her forehead, the AP reports. Marine Le Pen, head of the National Front, said today she's suing Madonna for showing just such an image during a concert last night at the Stade de France. Madonna also displayed it at a concert in Israel that left Le Pen fuming. A National front rep said the party would file court papers next week for "insults."
But the anti-racism group SOS Racisme supported the Material Girl, applauding her for "resolutely anti-racist and feminist discourse." And Le Pen's face wasn't the only one Madonna mocked; she even showed her own mug own wearing Hitler's mustache. But the National Front has been trying to look less like a hotbed of anti-Semites and racists lately, especially after Le Pen failed to top 20% in France's presidential election.
