(Newser) – Mitt Romney sets a high bar for anyone seeking the presidency—too high, it seems, for his own running mate to match. At a May speech in Las Vegas, Romney avidly recounted the story of a local businessman who wanted a new Constitutional requirement for presidential candidates: that they have 3 years of business experience. "You see, then he or she would understand that the policies they’re putting in place have to encourage small business, make it easier for business to grow," said Romney. Only problem: Paul Ryan has been a Congressional staffer and lawmaker his entire professional life, with no business experience at all, notes BuzzFeed.

I have a better idea. The requirements should be: At an age no younger that 21 must have been a member of the armed forces (active) for a least 4 years. Two of the four years must be at a grade level below commissioned or non-commissioned officer. At an age no younger than 21 must have performed what is considered blue collar work for at least 5 years with three of those years doing manual labor work below the level of forman or supervisor and two years as a forman or supervisor.

He has been living off the taxpayers of this country since the age of 16 when his father died.  The very thing he wants to put an end to for the rest of America.  Somehow he ended up wealthy working in the public sector.

OK ... this is an interesting "qualification" test. If you're gonna be the country's CEO, maybe you should have some business experience. Now ... you're also gonna be the Commander in Chief of the most powerful military in the world, sooooo .... ?
