(Newser) – Ryan Lochte gives off a certain "Spicoli-like" frat boy vibe, writes Julie Miller, and as soon as she saw his "Cribs-quality shoe-and-watch collection" on an NBC Olympics special, she started imagining future career moves for the swimmer—like paid nightclub appearances, a career as a celebrity DJ, a cameo in the Bill & Ted sequel, a Playboy spread, or his very own reality dating show. Well, Lochte came close with his first post-Olympics gig: He'll guest on 90210, appearing as himself at a resort visited by two of the show's characters during the Oct. 29 episode. I just think he comes across as a very shallow show off. His persona isn't going to translate into anything very profitable, but hey, who cares?

For all the press he got and the bragging he did he fell way short of being a big winner. As far as his public persona, he should fit in well with the MTV crowd and belongs on Jersey Shore with the rest of the self absorbed asses and their "bling". He looked like a complete idiot wearing his grill at the medal ceremony. He should throw some money toward paying off his parent's home that is in foreclosure to pay them back for all the money they spent on him to get him to the Olympics and quit buying shoes and jewelry for his mouth.
