How Scientology Estranged Nicole From Her Kids

Source says Connor, Isabella 'hated' seeing Kidman

(Newser) – More details are leaking from Vanity Fair's massive Scientology story, and the latest paint a disturbing picture of how the church allegedly estranged Nicole Kidman from the two children she adopted with Tom Cruise. Isabella, now 18, was 8 when Kidman and Cruise divorced; Connor was 6. Kidman "did not want to deal with Scientology," a former Scientologist says, and thus she was labeled a "Suppressive Person," or someone who must be avoided, Us reports.

Then her own kids were trained to recognize "SPs" when they went along with Cruise on auditing sessions. "They rejected Nicole—they've been instructed," says another former Scientologist, who adds that at one point they told him, "Nicole is an SP! Our mom's an SP—we hate going and seeing her." The church, of course, denies all of the above. But the Los Angeles Times points out that in a 2010 interview, Kidman said of her children, "They live with Tom, which was their choice. I'd love them to live with us, but what can you do?" Click to see what the article had to say about Cruise's "wife auditions."

Scientology is all about control. Its about leaving your autonomy at the door, and submitting yourself to the views and protocols of a small cadre of very sick people. There have always been, and will continue to be, people who want to run your life for you. And, there will always be people willing to let others take over their lives. Sickness conjoins with sickness, and the result is pathological. Its one thing for an adult to submit to this sort of nonsense, but its quite another when children are involved. I do not know what sort of custody arrangements Nicole Kidman has, but if she has joint custody, the actions of Mr. Cruise and his "church" fly in the face of Ms. Kidman's custodial rights, and I would advise her to go immediately into family court, and seek an order barring Mr. Cruise from violating those rights.

I still don't get it. How can any rational thinking person believe all the BS dished out by religions and political parties who ultimately are tools for mind domination? Is society so weak minded that we have to believe in someone else's BS to live our lives? Already here religious and political zealots are name calling and threatning each other...Is this what these cults..political and religious... have to offer?..Can anybody explain cause I just don't get it.
