(Newser) – So, apparently you can chalk the iPad Mini up as a success: Pre-orders opened at 3am Eastern, and within 20 minutes, the white version had sold out, Fortune reports. The Apple store website now says it is available to ship in two weeks. As of this writing, the black model was still listed as deliverable on the release date of Nov. 2. "Of course, its hard to tell how much of the stock out is related to high demand vs. low supply," notes MacRumors.

No shock that Apple limited the supply so they can say something "sold out" quickly -- it's called artificial supply constraints. Baaaaaaaaaaa.

Sheep. Single-handedly (and with not much more in IQ points) propping up the stock market!
