'Man Boob' Surgery Surges

Number of British men seeking the procedure doubles in 5 years

(Newser) – Dude looks like a lady no more. More men are seeking breast reduction surgery to treat gynecomastia, which causes the dreaded "man boobs," reports the BBC. Statistics from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons show that 790 men in the UK underwent the procedure last year, double the amount who had the surgery five years ago; it was also a more popular procedure among men than liposuction or facelifts in 2011.

Though gynecomastia can result from obesity, it can also be caused by hormone-altering medications and hormone imbalances. But many still believe that it signifies a couch-potato lifestyle, and it's this kind of sentiment that has driven men like Ayo Adesina to go under the knife. He says he's happy with results: "I don't have an Arnold Schwarzenegger body, but I think it's made me even more determined to have the body that I would like."

In the UK, surgery to reduce male breasts is surging, more than doubling in five years.

Smokable MJ is just horny girl buds.  Lots of plant-estrogen.  What do you want to bet that chronic tokers have a greater tendency toward man-boobs?
