Gunman Wounds 3 at Alabama Hospital

He opens fire on police, is killed

(AP) – Authorities in Alabama say a man opened fire in a hospital this morning, wounding an officer and two employees before he was fatally shot by police. The officer and employees suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Police were called because a man with a gun was walking through St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. When confronted by officers, he started shooting and wounded one of the officers. That's when the second officer shot and killed the man. No word on motive yet.

Still think a new set of 'gun laws' can fix this new uprising of gun/maniac incidents? That's just Obama's false face attempt to appear that he's making a response as a President of the United States. He's just as helpless as the rest of us. Nothing can change people's thoughts. To keep people out of a building who don't belong inside won't help. The perps are internal. They're suicidal too (to make it even worse), so threats of the Chair as a punishment won't even help.An unthinkable ½-solution would be to have armed guards in all schools from now on. But we'd be turning our childcare intitutions into Marshal Law Military Zones!The only thing we can try is counselling for children identified to have problems! Or at least put them under watch. Maybe with a little luck, they won't grow up to be creatures like THIS one! But certainly SOME will be averted.

The pro-gun group's logic is this: if everyone has a gun in hand, they can shoot the insane killers right after they pull out the gun. But, what if you yourself is in a mad mood with something or anything? you probably will be the cold blood killer in next minute. You kill someone then be killed by someone. This cycle is worsening US people's situation.

Since we aren't supposed to have discussions about gun control right after a shooting, and since they are occurring just about every day, this is a pretty effective avenue for the pro-gun lobby to make sure they never have to defend their agenda.
