(Newser) – Hillary Clinton is back at work, and while her blood clot is gone, her sense of humor is hopefully not. The State Department greeted Clinton with a standing ovation and a gag gift: a football helmet adorned with her department's seal, reports the AP. She was also given a blue football jersey with "Clinton" and the number 112—the record-breaking number of countries she has visited as secretary of state—on the back. Aides described her as delighted, though they noted she didn't try the helmet on.

The big-ticket item on this week's agenda is a series of meetings in Washington with visiting Afghan President Hamid Karzai. But her most notable swan song will likely come later in the month: Clinton told her staff today that she will indeed testify before Congress about the Benghazi report before she leaves office. But Congress is in recess until Jan. 21, which means she'll likely remain secretary of state for about a week after Obama's inauguration. After she testifies, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which John Kerry chairs, will then take up his nomination.

When I read these comments then there comes to mind the reason our country is so divided today, people bashing each other! I use to be a party person but now think in the middle and vote for the person not a party for party persons don't have it anymore! One reason look at the comments people make at the other party! I don't believe every report the news puts out on a person! The media is more problem then the people sometimes they will do anything to get a story and then keep it going until everyone begins to believe it! We all have reasoning power and should be able to reason things out for ourselves and not what others say! But there are some just like bullies in schools will gang up on some one before they get the facts! We should think like the Detective Friday in the old series Drag Net-"": just want the facts, just give me the facts""!! but we hang them before they are tried! People don't be so quick to Judge others, or better yet take a tip from Jesus and let him without sin cast the first stone! May God Bless America again, even in her present state she is still the best country on earth!
